What to say in your video/audio introduction?
There are different ways on how you can introduce yourself. But what if you’re given a 30-second or 1-minute intro requirement?
Well, the shorter, the better!
I have sample scripts for you, so please feel free to use it however you like.
Here are the things to consider before filming your intro video/audio:
First: Always follow the employer’s instructions or company guidelines.
Second: Make NO mistakes in grammar, pronunciation, intonation, (and spelling – if it’s a written introduction).
Third: Be mindful of how you sound, so make sure to listen/check the recording before submitting it coz employers’ don’t like choppy, crappy, buggy, ugly work.
Fourth: Standout from the crowd! Get their attention! I suggest adding some greetings in their language to make your intro more convincing and personalized. For instance, if you’re applying for a company that caters Chinese, then say ”Ni Hao”. If it’s Korean, say ”Annyeong-haseyo”. If it’s Japanese, say ”Konnichiwa”.
