Hello mga kabayans! How are you holding up? I hope that you’re doing okay and your loved ones are in good health.
Are you looking for work but can’t seem to find any in this time of pandemic? Narinig mo na ba ang website na ”workabroad.ph” or ”worklocal.ph”? These websites might be the answer to your prayers. If you’re looking for an agency that will assist you in getting your dream job, baka ito na ang hinahanap mo kabayan.
First off, I’d like to clarify that I am not connected to this company nor paid to promote them here. I own this blog and I’m not affiliated to anyone. I am here to merely share my insights on everything that I feel would help others. Now, going back to our topic about finding work as a Filipino, I suggest going to the workabroad.ph website (for jobs overseas) o di kaya’y worklocal.ph (for jobs within the Philippines). I just recently became interested in them since I am also in search for job opportunities.
I found it very helpful and easy to use. There’s a plethora of jobs posted on their platform, and what’s great about it is that, the agencies that advertised jobs are all verified or POEA licensed. There is also a way for you to check the validity of their license and even contact them directly.
It’s important to note that when searching for jobs on this website, it’s best to create an account so that you can have a better experience navigating all their latest jobs and updates. Though you can still view them, di ka makakasubmit ng application mo at di mo makikita ang full details ng trabahong gusto mong aplayan kasi nga hindi ka registered sa site nila. For this reason, I highly suggest setting up an account para kung log in ka palagi, madali mo nalang maview yung mga posted jobs nila at makikita mo pa kung magkano sahod, lahat-lahat na. Besides, you can also search jobs by country, agency, and position.
In my case, at first hindi muna ako nagregister o nagcreate ng account kasi tinamad ako. Pero after a week of visiting their site, may nakita akong mga trabaho na nainganyo ako mag-apply so kinailangan ko talaga maglog-in, so yun! I signed up and set up my profile or portfolio. I put there my work experience, some credentials, etc. para ma-verify ako. After you fill in the important information (as a candidate or job seeker), the system will automatically set your profile ”verified”. Lalo na kapag kinompleto mo lahat ng entries like your basic information and government documents.
Now, start browsing all their job postings (sobrang dami talaga). These are some of the many jobs posted on workabroad.ph website, and I noticed that most of them are in healthcare: nurses, caregivers, nursing aide/assistant. Others are waiter/waitress, domestic helper/cleaner, teacher (sa Saudi), seaman, welder, driver, call center (Malaysia), at room attendant.
If you’re searching for jobs within the country, just visit worklocal.ph.
Good luck Kabayan! You got this! 🙂
